Le test 360 degrés peut être assez déstabilisant mais très intéressant pour le beta-testeur dans la mesure où il va mettre en évidence l’écart entre l’image qu’il a de lui ou elle même et l’image que les autres ont de lui ou elle.
Le processus implique des beta-testeurs « évalué » et des beta-testeurs « évaluateurs ».
La méthode est la suivante : le beta testeur « évalué » procède à une auto-évaluation en remplissant un questionnaire de 136 questions portant sur ses qualités et compétences managériales. Un questionnaire semblable est soumis aux autres beta-testeurs « évaluateurs » (une dizaine) et les réponses sont traitées de manière anonyme.
Une restitution est alors réalisée auprès du beta testeur « évalué », après comparaison des réponses. L’objectif de la restitution étant de faire un bilan sur les compétences acquises et celles à développer.
A l’issue de la période des tests, une restitution automatique (un document de 57 pages) est envoyée au beta testeur « évalué », dans la langue choisie.
